Carollee Stater

            Branch Manager, Adelanto Library 

Carollee graduated from California State University at Long Beach with a degree in English.  She and her husband Gary moved to Apple Valley in 1969 and she has been active in the community since then.  She was the Assistant Branch Librarian at the Apple Valley Branch Library and was a substitute teacher.  Her community service began as a member of the Apple Valley Junior Women's club.  She served as president and went on to hold several district offices.  Carollee became active as a Girl Scout Leader, adult trainer, Community Relations Chairman, and is currently on the Board of Directors for the San Gorgonio Girl Scout Council.  She also served as an elected member of the Board of Trustees for Victor Valley College and served four years as President of the board.  She and her family have hosted over a dozen foreign exchange students.  Carollee has also served as the Director of the Cajon Passers Volleyball Club. 

Carollee is an active member of Assistance League of Victor Valley, and is a past president.  She is on the evaluation committee and a member of the finance committee.
