Vicki E. Godden, Ph.D

            Director of Curriculum, Apple Valley Unified School District 

Vicki graduated from the University of Arizona with a BA in Education in 1969, and an MA in English as a Second Language in 1970.  She has since earned a MS in School Administration from Pepperdine University and a Ph.D in Education from Claremont Graduate University.  She has over 25 years experience as an educator, both in the classroom and in management/administration.  Her professional affiliations include Phi Delta Kappa, Delta Kappa Gamma, Pi Lambda Theta, and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. 

Vicki has been named in Who's Who in America Education 1988-89 and in Outstanding Elementary Teachers of America 1975.  She also received the PTA Honorary Life Service Award.  Vicki has served as a teacher and an Elder of Adult Education at Church of the Valley in Apple Valley.  She has chaired or actively served on various committees in her church, school district and community. 

Vicki and her husband Carroll moved to the Victor Valley in 1969, when Carroll was transferred to George Air Force Base. In 1971 they moved with their family to Apple Valley where they currently reside.  They have four children and eleven grandchildren.
